The company physically transporting a vehicle is the assigned independent motor carrier. Phoenix Auto Dispatch coordinates customer requirements into an authorized brokerage relationship so carrier selection can be evaluated against the actual shipment rather than treated as a generic “network” promise.
A carrier can have valid authority and insurance but still be the wrong equipment match for a particular shipment. Low-clearance vehicles, motorcycles, inoperable vehicles, oversized units, collector cars and RVs can require different loading methods or equipment. Those requirements should be disclosed before a carrier accepts the assignment.
Customers may request the assigned carrier’s company information and available insurance details before pickup. If a shipment detail changes after assignment—vehicle condition, dimensions, locations or timing—tell Phoenix promptly so the change can be evaluated before the truck arrives.
FMCSA describes a broker as an entity that arranges transportation using a motor carrier, while the motor carrier is the company operating the transport equipment. Phoenix Dispatch LLC does not claim its own broker or motor-carrier authority; Phoenix coordinates customer work through authorized brokerage partners and independent authorized motor carriers.
